From Selfishness to Servitude
Most of us spend years living for ourselves — our needs, our survival, our wants. This program challenges men to examine the cost of that pattern honestly and discover the profound freedom that comes from choosing to live for something beyond themselves. It is the foundational shift in perspective that makes every other program in the series possible.
Rebuilding the Self: A Self-Esteem Workbook
You cannot build a better life on a broken foundation. This program addresses one of the most overlooked needs of incarcerated men — a genuine, healthy sense of self-worth. Men work through the wounds that damaged their self-image and begin building an identity rooted in dignity, honesty, and real personal value.
The Voice You Can't Ignore
Inside every person is a voice that knows the truth — about who they are, what they have done, and who they are capable of becoming. This program helps men learn to hear that voice clearly, stop drowning it out, and begin living with the kind of integrity that comes from having your inner knowing and your outward actions in alignment.
Learning to Love Yourself So You Can Love Others
You cannot give what you do not have. This program explores the relationship between self-love and the capacity to love others well — as a partner, a father, a son, a friend. Men work through the barriers to self-love and begin building the daily practices that make genuine, lasting love for self and others possible.
The Wounds You Carry
Almost every man in this program is carrying wounds he has never fully acknowledged — from childhood, from loss, from violence, from abandonment. This program gives men the language and framework to understand those wounds honestly, trace how they have driven behavior, and begin the healing that makes genuine lasting change possible.
Disciplinary Insight and Accountability
Designed for men who have struggled with institutional rules and authority, this program helps men examine the thinking patterns and emotional triggers that lead to disciplinary issues — and build the self-awareness and self-control needed to navigate conflict, frustration, and authority without self-destructive behavior.
Men's Feelings Matter
Men are taught from an early age that feelings are weakness. This program directly and compassionately challenges that lie. Men build an emotional vocabulary, learn to identify and name what they feel, and develop the emotional honesty that is essential for every relationship and every area of genuine growth.
Batterer Intervention Program
Designed for men who have used violence, coercion, or control in intimate relationships, this program does not excuse — it confronts. Men understand the roots of abusive behavior, the specific harm it caused to partners and children, and the daily choices required to become a man who is genuinely safe to be in relationship with.
Addiction and Personality: Understanding the Connection
This program goes deeper than most addiction programs — exploring the relationship between personality patterns, emotional wounds, and addictive behavior. Men examine what the substance was doing for them — what pain it was managing — and build the self-awareness and coping skills needed for genuine, lasting sobriety.
Goal Setting for Purposeful Change
Change without direction is just motion. This program teaches men how to set meaningful, realistic goals — not just for release, but for the life they want to build. Men develop a complete written personal life plan and build the accountability structures that make follow-through possible.
The Hinge Moment: Understanding the Choices That Changed Everything
A hinge is a small thing — but everything turns on it. This program takes men through a deep psychological examination of the pivotal moment that led to their incarceration — not to shame, but to genuinely understand. Men leave this program knowing themselves more deeply than they ever have.
Emotional Intelligence and Anger Management
This program builds the full skill set of emotional intelligence — self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation, and social skills — with specific application to anger management. Men learn not just how to control anger but how to understand it, use it as information, and build healthier emotional patterns from the inside out.
Developing Insight: Preparation for the Board of Parole Hearings
Designed specifically for life-term inmates, this program builds genuine insight — not rehearsed answers, but deep, specific, personal understanding of why the crime happened. Men who complete this program are genuinely different — not just better prepared. They understand themselves more deeply than ever before.
Reentry: Coming Home to a World That Moved On
Release from prison is one of the highest-risk moments of a person’s life — and most programs do not honestly prepare men for its emotional and psychological reality. This program addresses the identity confusion, relationship upheaval, environmental pull, and specific risk periods of the first 90 days after release.
Victim Awareness and Restorative Thinking
The final program of the series. This program builds genuine empathy for victims — real, specific, human understanding of what the crime did to real people. It explores the full ripple effect of crime and introduces restorative justice principles that help men live in a way that honors the harm they caused.
