Living an Invested Life exists to help incarcerated men grow in emotional intelligence, self-awareness, accountability, and healing. We design and deliver practical, compassionate, evidence-informed educational programs that equip men with the skills to understand their past, take full responsibility for their choices, repair harm where possible, and build a future grounded in purpose, dignity, and genuine change.

Our Foundation
Our Story
Living an Invested Life was founded on a simple but profound belief — that people are more than the worst thing they have ever done. That given the right tools, the right guidance, and someone who genuinely believes in their capacity to change, most people will change. Not because it is easy, but because it is possible. And because the alternative — doing nothing, giving up, writing people off — costs all of us more than we can afford.
Our curriculum was developed with deep respect for the men who use it. Every program is written in plain, direct, human language that meets men where they are — not talking down to them, not shaming them, but challenging them with compassion and holding them to the standard of genuine growth.
Today, Living an Invested Life offers a complete 15-program series covering every dimension of personal growth — from self-esteem and emotional intelligence to victim awareness and reentry preparation. Each program is a fully developed, professionally written workbook with 12 chapters, reflection exercises, skill-building activities, quizzes, and a final examination representing nearly three years of structured personal growth work.
